The Yellow Dress
It is a symbol of radical visibility. The choice to be unmissable in a world that often asks us to shrink.
It is armour that doesn't look like armour. Soft and warm and full of light, and yet wearing it in the wilderness takes a particular kind of nerve. There is something quietly defiant about it, this bright, joyful thing against rock and ice and endless forest.
It is also a mirror. Each time it appears in a new landscape, it reflects something different: courage, softness, uncertainty, wonder, becoming. It is not a costume. It is a state of being.
The yellow dress has been present for some of the most defining moments of my creative life. It has stood at the edge of frozen lakes, disappeared into autumn forests, and glowed against skies that made me feel beautifully small. It has shown up in moments of pure joy and moments that asked everything of me.
Growth doesn't have a finish line, and there is always another mountain, another version of myself worth meeting, another story worth telling.
If you have ever stood at the edge of something that scared you and stepped forward anyway, this work is for you.
